Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Pirates
My fascination with LEGO began... Before I can remember - my parents started me off as a baby on DUPLO, and it just went from there!
I once built... An 1850's sail & steam 2 decker, frigate-decked ship of the line, to minifig scale. I built the masts from bricks and riggged it with black embroidery floss and black yarn. I never got around to photographing it, and several months later one of my cats got into the basement and playfully rubbed up against it...:(
Someday I will build... HMS Victory out of LEGO bricks, to minifig scale!
LEGO is great because... LEGO is so creative - you can build anything out of it! I've seen some awesome MOC's out there, and every time I search, I find something else I've never thought before, or something so good it's almost amazing!
LEGO fans are great because... They tend to be creative and constructively critical of each other's works. They constantly suggest new ideas and ways to improive, and best of all they give - ideas, websites, pictures, feedback, encouragement etc.. They're very positive and polite - unlike some fans online I can think of!
