Ian Horst
("ishorst")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Castle, Pirates especially Islanders, Adventurers. I hope to move to Enchanted Island one day soon as I figure out how to attach a bone to my hair. :)

My fascination with LEGO began... when I was a kid...a LONG time ago. As in the wheels with metal axles.

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: 1970s jazz & groove music; "alternate" spirituality; GWM

My favorite Foods: Well I didn't get to be a big guy by eating only arugula though I do love it.

My favorite Movies & TV: Historical epics; 1970s blaxploitation

My favorite Artists: socialist realist propaganda art esp. Chinese (like the art only not the politics)

My favorite Music: jazz esp. funky/groovy. most stuff from 1970s. Current musicians I'm fussy. I dig Erykah Badu.

My favorite Pets & Animals: a great cat named Henry

Words which best describe me: unconventional

I love it when... everything goes right

I hate it when... I hear people clipping their fingernails.

I can't seem to get enough... lego. CDs. er, stuff.

I always seem to have enough... lego. CDs, er, stuff.

I hope I always... can appreciate a good martini.

I wish I could... own a house.

More & Less:
  • more peace & love, less war & intolerance
  • more good music, less hype
  • more green hot sauces, less fruit filling

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Happiness comes from unbridled creativity
  2. Thank God for everything
  3. Never vote Republican

Additional comments:

The world would be a better place if the only guys running around with weapons were little plastic minifigs with little plastic spears. Go Lego!
