Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Star Wars, Fabuland figures, Technic, Paradisa and now I'm getting into Duplo animals.
My fascination with LEGO began... When I was a kid, but didn't really get any until I was an adult. I had BrixBlox (like MegaBlocks of today) that I played with constantly - they were like Lego, only cheaper and affordable for my family.
Someday I will build... "Village Ghetto-Land" fashioned after the CHA's housing projects in Chicago (that are now mostly torn down) & a huge Library/Museum with different rooms.
LEGO is great because... You can build them, and take them apart, and store them and rebuild them!
LEGO fans are great because... We all love what we all love! There's a piece of kid in all of us that enables fun, which is fantastic!
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: I collected Rubicks type toys as a kid; Love my McFarlane Horror figures; but have little time for other non-Lego toys!
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Besides Lego? Occasional books, video games (current fave is Katamari), going out with friends, taking care of my animals.
My favorite Foods: Mexican, Italian, and the best French Dip at a local restaurant in town.
My favorite Movies & TV: New? CSI and CSI NY, Law & Order SVU, Weeds, Six Feet Under (which just ended), LWord, most HBO series and I love Buffy now.
My favorite Artists: Anything Kate Winslet is in movie wise, and I love older Bette Davis/Joan Crawford movies; music wise I'm a huge fan of many, many artists. Art wise? Whatever I find appealing at the time.
My favorite Music: Many artists...to name a few faves: Foo Fighters, Dolly Parton, Concrete Blonde, George Michael, Indigo Girls, Yo-Yo Ma and everything inbetween.
My favorite Pets & Animals: 3 cats (Grimm, Stella-Luna and WonTon); 1 snake (Quasimoto) and a frog (Tojo)
