Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Space, Legend, Indiana Jones, Alpha Team (all), Aquazone, Space, Power Miners, Star Wars, Rock Raiders, Classic Space, Technic, Model Team, Futuron, Town, Blacktron I & II, Pirates, X-Treme, M-Tron, Space Police I & II & III, Race, Adventure (all), Ice Planet, Prince of Persia, U.F.O., Studio, Kingdoms, Atlantis, Insectoids, Space Port, Outback, Life on Mars, Mars Mission, Robo-Force, my own train, Exo-Force, even Belville. I like 95% of all Lego ever, especially Space, have I mentioned Space yet?

My fascination with LEGO began... when I was 6 years old. I did have some Lego, small cars an airplane you know, the basic mid 70's stuff, then in 1979 I was given the 918 for my birthday. Within a week I had built and rebuilt it in every shape I could think of, from that moment on, I could say I had an addiction.

I once built... the Euro-5, it's a spaceship from a Dutch childrens book series. It was just over 4 baseplates (32x32) long and the maximum width was 2 studs wider than a doorway. Fine it only had the 1 deck instead of 3, but it did have it's hangar bay, including shuttle, bridge, galley, captain's ready room, forward hatch and main engine room.

Someday I will build... a battle ship (early 20th century-style), to mini-fig scale. And a "realistic" spaceship, with as many functioning details as I can put in it.

LEGO is great because... you can build the most complicated of structures with the most basic of bricks

LEGO fans are great because... they acknowledge the child within, something most adults frown on.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: What do you mean, Non-Lego?

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Science (all fields), science fiction.

My favorite Foods: Anything I haven't tried before. But you can always wake me up for mashed potatoes with baby carrots and peas and fish fingers and applesauce. Mmmm.

My favorite Movies & TV: Quality movies & television. No reality shows please, I am living real life and have no need to see it on television.

My favorite Artists: many and varied.

My favorite Music: many and varied, if at all possible something original.

My favorite Pets & Animals: Anything that will listen to me when it has to and still has character.

Words which best describe me: big, quiet, insane, Lego, contradicted, autofietsbootkonijnenvliegtuig.

I love it when... I've got an original idea for a new creation.

I hate it when... an original idea for a new creation doesn't work.

I can't seem to get enough... time to put all the original ideas for new creations into practice.

I always seem to have enough... things to do to keep me away from my Lego.

I hope I always... will have the use of my hands, so I can play with my Lego. All other limbs are expendable.

I wish I could... get off this planet, with my Lego.

I could never... part with my Lego

I hope I never... have to part with my Lego

I wish I hadn't... parted with my Lego. Oh, wait, I've never had a Dark-Age, so I haven't.

In my craziest moments... I bought the 6597 for one single part. Also, I was building a spaceship, for which I needed the canopy of the 7191 UCS X-Wing three times. I only had two. So I bought a third. Then I thought, that other ship I have in mind could also benefit from such a canopy and simply because I didn't want to demolish the first ship, I bought a fourth. Both ships now stand proudly side by side.

Believe it or not... A friend of mine, sold me all his Lego once. Only to suffer from withdrawel symptoms after just two months. He has since started to rebuild some sort of collection. To my memory, no-one has ever had a two month long Dark-Age. By the way, I kept all the Lego and we're still on speaking terms. Don't believe me? Check out member 2081.

If I were super-human... Believe me, that would be a bad thing.

More & Less:
  • more nights, less days
  • more Lego, less junk
  • more insanity, less political correctness

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Buy as much Lego as you can.
  2. To thine own self be true.
  3. BUY MORE LEGO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
