Doug Eaton
("elecbrick")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: LEGO Robotics brought me out of my dark ages. Now I am building Town and Train for shows. My 3 daughters enjoy playing LEGO now, escpecially Clikits and Belville and I make castles for them. My son is a Pirate who also loves Bionicle. The only sets I build by instruction are Space including Star Wars. Is there any theme I have not covered?

My fascination with LEGO began... with my first set which I received for Christmas when I was 5 years old. My dad bought it so he could play with it :-)

I once built... a covered stadium. My friend sat on it and broke my only 10 x 20 brick that was its roof.

Someday I will build... a basement-sized L-guage layout becasuse modeling scenery in LEGO is easy and very forgiving when I make mistates which is all too frequently. I had an HO train layout with detailed plaster scenery. Or at least I tried to build one. I always messed up the plaster and could never get the paint/dye color right.

LEGO is great because... my friends who build custom robots spend more on machining a single part than I spend on a large technics set.

LEGO fans are great because... they tell you where the sales are and frequently share their haul.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Rokenbok

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Pick A Brick

My favorite Foods: Pie and Ice cream

My favorite Movies & TV: no time...

I love it when... a plan comes together.

I can't seem to get enough... time. Taking care of four kids does tend to eat away at my free time.

I always seem to have enough... wheels
