Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Star Wars, Star Wars, and... Star Wars

My fascination with LEGO began... Around age 3, I think. 1980ish.

I once built... A big castle and battleground. I was into space and castle back in the 80s.

Someday I will build... A Star Destroyer to scale with the UCS Corellian Corvette!

LEGO is great because... It's modular. Not just some simple action figure and action vehicle hoobajoob. And at the same time, not a plastic model kit in need of brain-woozing glue. Just self-holding, strong, cool-looking peggy goodness.

LEGO fans are great because... They like LEGO?

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Computer games. If those don't count as toys, then. Um... do adult toys count?

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Films, Books (sci-fi mostly), Music, Football (soccer), Driving, Cats, pointless LEGO cataloging

My favorite Foods: Mexican, Indian, and Italian

My favorite Movies & TV: Star Wars Trilogy, Star Trek (TOS&TNG), Rushmore, Hitchcock films, Conan O'Brien, Simpsons, etc etc

My favorite Artists: visual: Magritte, Ernst, Dali (Surrealism) / literary: Heinlein, Asimov, Nabokov

My favorite Music: classic rock: U2, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd / techno: Orbital, Future Sound of London, Underworld

My favorite Pets & Animals: Fennec Foxes. Siamese cats. Ferrets. Alien dogs.

Words which best describe me: He's a normally lazy man who pursues useless activities with zest and vigor.

I love it when... I finally get a Star Wars LEGO set I've been longing for. Or when Wendy's brings back the Monterey Ranch Chicken Sandwich. mmmm....

I hate it when... I have no room to display a newly assembled LEGO vehicle. Or drop aforementioned vehicle.

I can't seem to get enough... Of my new Corellian Corvette's awesome design and look. :::staring even now:::

I always seem to have enough... Reasons to stay up late at night.

I hope I always... Have a chance to get new LEGO sets!

I wish I could... Assemble every Star Wars vehicle in the films and the best expanded universe books without spending the next 20 years paying for LEGO parts.

I could never... Stop loving LEGO.

I hope I never... Discover all my LEGO sets have been stolen, broken beyond repair, or melted down while I slept.

I wish I hadn't... lost all those awesome space and castle LEGO sets from the 70s and early 80s.

In my craziest moments... I believe I am a LEGO mini-fig. Well, no, not really.

Believe it or not... I really like LEGO! Oh, and I've been to the original LEGOLAND in Denmark, back in 1982. I was hardcore so young. (sniff)

If I were super-human... I'd build a full-size LEGO X-Wing so heavy only I could lift it, and whoosh it around busy city streets at rush hour.

More & Less:
  • more Star Wars and LEGO, less Bad bad music
  • more Indian delivery/take-out places, less potholes and crappy driving
  • more Time, less Space

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Be nice when you can.
  2. Try to do some work every now and then.
  3. Get as much sleep as you possibly can.

Additional comments:

If you'd like to know how insane I am, read the following:

After putting together the Corellian Corvette I've mentioned several times already, I wanted to do more stuff with it, so I proceeded to make an excel file that notes the number of pieces in every single step and substep, and then lists every single unique piece type in the set by color, plate/brick/other, size, description, and amount. I plan to add all my other Star Wars LEGO sets to this file in similar fashion, thus creating a step by step piece count for each of them, but also a combined piece type inventory of all the sets together.
