Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Castle, Space, Technic, Starwars, Mindstorm

My fascination with LEGO began... I've always loved Lego. My first memories of Lego are from when I was 4, my sisters got a large box of Lego for Christmas. My favorite things to play with were the big red and blue gears! My high school years started my dark ages and I didn't emerge till I saw the Mindstorm. This facinated me enough I felt I 'needed' one for my kids. After that, well, its all history, right?

I once built... As a child, one of the accomplishments I was most proud of was building an 'automatic turn table' like my Dad had. I used one of those large red gears for the turntable and geard an old 4.5v motor way down to turn it. then I used more gearing and some string (yes, non-lego string. I didn't even know that Lego made string at that point in my life) to raise and lower the play arm and move it onto the 'playing surface' of my record, which was built from 1x bricks. It really worked and I was quite proud of it (did I already say that?).

Someday I will build... Boy, this could be a long list... A BURP mountain; a trestle bridge; a large scale version of the titanic; another, larger, more accurate gothic cathedral; an AT-AT walker; an Emperial Landing Shuttle w/ folding wings; and lots more!

LEGO is great because... It is so flexible. Each of my children love Lego and use it to build whatever their immagination desires. And their Dad loves it (that's me :) for the same reasons! It can be whatever you want it to. It is very versitle, but presents you with a never ending array of challenges to overcome in building with it. It is a beautiful balance.

LEGO fans are great because... They are all kids at heart!

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Telescopes, Guitars, Computer

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Astronomy, Music, Gaming

My favorite Foods: Just about everything! (except the slimy green vegetables :)

My favorite Movies & TV: Movies: Starwars TV: Dunno. I don't watch much.

My favorite Pets & Animals: None.

Words which best describe me: Easygoing

I love it when... I don't have to go to work and I get to stay home and make a pancake breakfast for my family.

I hate it when... I have to go to work.

I can't seem to get enough... Lego. Or mabye sleep :)

I always seem to have enough... Problems.

I hope I always... Get to spend time with my family.

I wish I could... obtain some of those great Castle sets and space sets from the 80's and early 90's.

I could never... be a salesman.

I hope I never... Have to sell my lego.

I wish I hadn't... Had any dark ages.

In my craziest moments... were probably in college, with a bunch of friends watching Monty Python movies.

Believe it or not... I used to be able to quote entire Monty Python skits, word for word. (My, what a tallent:)

If I were super-human... Hmm... I dunno.
