("Freddy", "Uncle Fred", "Team Zombie")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Classic Space is my #1!; Castle, Pirates, Divers and a few others also hold a special place in my heart!

My fascination with LEGO began... With the receipt of the Mobile Rocket Transport as a Christmas gift wa-a-a-y back when. Classic Space....you're deeply missed, but slowly being acquired via e-auctions!

I once built... A scale version of the Scarab power boat used and "owned" by Sonny Crockett of the NBC t.v. serial, Miami Vice, circa '84-'89. Then, I drew my own set of color building instructions by hand, in reverse, as I disassembled the Scarab.

Someday I will build... Ohhh, lemme see..... the line of craft, bases and other unique sets I dreamed up as my idea for a new space theme in the "classic" style. Have rough sketches and scripted descriptions thus far.

LEGO is great because... of how well-crafted it is; because of how it acts like a catalyst for the imagination. There are times I've felt like a nerd, but I've never (?) had a Dark Age & never lost my interest in LEGO.

LEGO fans are great because... of how many like interests I'm finding out we have...like J.R.R.Tolkien's works, the STAR WARS epic, the need to physically create the worlds we currently know only thru movies and computers. You ALL hold a place in my heart because of that. And LEGO fans are just plain smart...they know a good thing when they see it!

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Starcraft II for pc; Tomb Raider series and other games for Playstation I and II

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: hiking, mtn biking, photography, artwork in many forms, music & reading

My favorite Foods: Mom's chili; not much I don't like!! TexMex, seafood/sushi, etc. etc.

My favorite Movies & TV: Sci-Fi Battlestar Galactica; the LOTR films, although I'm real bitter I wasn't IN them! (I'm a working actor-Grrrrrr!!!) Blade Runner, The Thing (Carpenter), old Miami Vice/X-Files, etc.

My favorite Artists: The Hildebrandt bros. (Tolkien art); John Kricfalusi; Rembrandt, etc. etc.

My favorite Music: Sting,Rush,Robert Rich,Wagner,Mozart,Vangelis -this list is endless!!!

My favorite Pets & Animals: Currently (2012)-three wild field mice! The family's old Golden Retriever, "Sunny" (He has "gone on ahead" to wait for us)

Words which best describe me: Difficult, Energetic, Compulsive - a real nut!

I love it when... I find dated LEGO at 40-60% off at a local toy store!! I love it when I'm in the company of my parents, brother and nieces or good friends, having a great set of laughs.

I hate it when... I see people litter. I see young parents who can't be bothered BEING parents...

I can't seem to get enough... need I really say, LEGO? Can't seem to get enough TIME TO CREATE, whatever it happens to be I'm creating.

I always seem to have enough... Old papers, old bills, printed e-mails and other crap-ola! He-e-e-elp!!

I hope I always... Have a little of my chilhood self inside me--just enough to make life interesting.

I wish I could... Have the financial wherewithal to allow me to pursue only the things that interest me.

I could never... breathe dryer lint, unlike our heroes Captain Hoek and Cadet Stimpy.

I hope I never... stop looking forward to new things, new places, new experiences and new people.

I wish I hadn't... Been a poor student when many of the best LEGO sets of ALL time were still available!!! Boy did I flip when TLG reintroduced the Black Seas Barracuda! "Yah-Harrrr, me maties!!"

In my craziest moments... ...I engage in rude or ridiculous verbal/physical humor for the amusement of my friends and fellow actors.

Believe it or not... organic milk seems to stay fresh indefinitely in my fridge. Seriously. It's amazing. Latest occurence: "Sell By" Sept 26-- was still potable as of the 3rd of October. Mmmmm...got milk?!

If I were super-human... Too many things could go wrong! Best not to think about this one too long... but my castle would be made of Lego, I can tell you that much!!! [grin]

More & Less:
  • more Laughter and Friendliness, less Ambivalence
  • more Acceptance, less Judgement, self-righteousness
  • more Untouched natural beauty, less Traffic, pollution, litter and "disposeable" stuff

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Go out of your way to do well by the next guy
  2. Food, then shelter, then LEGO
  3. Never let harsh words between loved ones linger too long

Additional comments:

I just want to say how in awe of many of you builders/MOC'ers I am. I always considered myself a huge fan of LEGO, but some a' you people are HARD-CORE! Those mechs especially---JEEZ!!!! I'm STILL thrilled to be a part of the "club" after 10+ years!
