Here's one:
Reason for coming out of dark age: seen Lego in Toys R Us and saw the 4561
train set, and had to get it.... so I ended the dark age with my first Train
purchase. In the following month, I had purchased a 6600 Hiway Construction,
a Fright Night's Castle, and a couple smaller sets, I think tv camera crew...
I went away on a field exercise for 30 days in Louisiana and came back and
"discovered" E-bay!! (oh NO!!!)
soon after I had 6380 Emergency Treatment Center (Hospital) and the 4559
Cargo Train (with extra track)....and very shortly after that I had
aquired a lot more town sets, including a good bunch from the early "Town
Jr. Era" (circa 1998 and 1999).
