That's right, we have a name - TasLUG. (creative huh?)
Give it another year and we might come up with a webpage :)

Next meeting has not been scheduled yet.  If you're likely to be interested
please let me (drb@tasmail.com) or Frances Schroeter
(schroter@netspace.net.au) know and we'll keep you informed!

BTW we're both based in the Hobart area but this doesn't exclude the rest of
Tasmania by any means (ok, statewide meetings could be tricky but we'll
worry about that if it ever becomes an issue :) ).

Aha, you're in now whether you like it or not :)

Well we could always start by pinching Ross' (an expatriate Taswegian)
more-or-less-Batman Bridge :)  Hey Ross, seeing as you seem to have a thing
for bridges, maybe you can do the Tasman Bridge, and if you're feeling
really adventurous you could Lake Illawarra it :) :) :)

<snip for space>

Just you wait, didn't you know our mission was to be the best known state by
people with Lego by 2005?  We're well on the way to achieving our goals,
with a massive 2/478,000= 0.0004184% of the Tasmanian populace attending
TasLug meetings, or approx 0.00001% of Australia.  See, all we have to
conquer is the rest of the world.  Easy! - they'll come from far and wide
indeed!

Seriously, if you're down Hobart way, please feel free to contact us (I'm
under the impression you're from somewhere near Launceston, not sure why,
please correct me if I'm wrong).

Deidre (yes, if I'm raving it's because I no longer get to sleep at night! :)

But Victoria's got it's own bridge
http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/vr_net/road_man/westgate.htm with it's own
disaster story, and it's longer than the Tasman 8?)
