The meeting yesterday was a bit quieter without the carnage of BrikWars.
But the centrepiece was impressive, Kev's walled city moving towards completion
Like the two halves of the magical ring getting put together, my harbour
slotted into place beside it, or more like the ugly BURP-riddled sibling sat
next to it's elegant/intricate/detailed sibling.

Newcomer Richie (festwise) brought his huge Cousteauish expedition vessel.
Multi-layered and detailed inside and outside and maybe even in the 4th
dimension with lots of working features. Maybe we should be doing boat shows
as well as train shows.

Newcomer Anthony (festwise) brought someone that should have been discussed
further. A town aeroplane that had always been assembled. Some white bricks
had discoloured, some hadn't, including examples of the same element.
I hate to ask, but I must...'Why is this so?'(copyright - Professer J.S-M)

We had visiting BUG Mel and partner J and BUGlet S swelling our numbers.
Mel had examples of the impressive BUG newsletter and was distributing
authentic Legoland souvenirs as well as displaying impressive powerwalking
attributes when retail Lego aisles were approached. (Note to self: must start
training before attending BUG retail excursions in distant future).

So to all those Lego heads out there...
Attend your local LUG meetings, if you don't have one...start one.
You will never feel silly buying Lego again.
