King Gregor was not pleased.
"What do you mean, you didn't know?"
"I'm sorry Sire, it's that simple: I had no idea. Probably no one does."
Malcolm, the castellan of Davinskeep, did his best to be calm in the face of
his (somewhat paranoid) monarch's anger.
"A hidden passage behind my bed is NOT something you are ALLOWED TO NOT
KNOW!!!!" Gregor roared the last, and barely paused before steaming ahead.
"Where does it go? Who knows about it? Why didn't *I* know about it? How
many of these little halls worm through my castle? What else is Davinskeep
hiding from me, eh?"
"well, I, um..." Malcolm trailed off, not certain what exactly his lord
wanted from him.
"Are there no plans? No records? Who built this great stinking rock
anyway? FIND OUT!" The king finally seemed to slow down. "And do something
about that bloody door behind my bed." Gregor stomped out of the room,
leaving his castellan staring at a half-blocked door, contemplating his
unenviable task: Finding historians who knew the history of Davinskeep.

| (...) Very nice James, your quite the scribe! You always produce superior work; I think the concept of an evolving castle with the plight and perseverance of a peoples makes compelling writing too.
