As we near the release of LDD 2.0, I offer the following tale... Two weeks ago, I was visiting the Tyson's Corner LEGO Store. Seems that James Mathis and I were thinking along similar lines this past week. I, too, designed some streamliner cars of my own using the LEGO Factory parts palette, although I modeled mine on the "Metroliner" paint scheme rather than for the Super (...) Over the weekend, I designed a LEGO train station somewhat evocative of grand European stations using LEGO Digital Designer. The station has a rounded glass canopy and is large enough for a fairly tall (~12 bricks high) train to clear. The interior (...) One more tip - if you want to check all your XML is marked up correctly and you haven't made any mistakes, just double-click the file. It'll open in Internet Explorer (unless your name's Christopher and you have a MAC... ;-). You should see a neatly (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

I've been tinkering with the "ldraw.xml" file in LEGO Digital Designer (LDD), and have come up with the following list of fixes for good LDD/LDRAW conversion. In case you hadn't already discovered, if you append ".ldr" to the end of the file name (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad.ldd, lugnet.lego, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build) !!
