  First National Bank of LEGO

I know a lot of you saw this MOC's debut at Brickworld, but I figured I would post it here for those that couldn't make it this year. This is the 1st National Bank of LEGO I created in the weeks leading up to Brickworld 2008. It is built in the (...)   Thoughts on Battery-powered IR-controlled trains

My thoughts on the new battery-powered IR-controlled trains (BPIR trains)... First a quick summary of the reports that I've read here on lugnet.trains. 1. IR controller has three different channels. a. IR controller can switch between channels or (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Y-Wing is half price in Kmart

(...) Every year Kmart, Myer, Target and TRU do this. They will sell a new set (usually a reissue, 10xxx or high-end set) at full retail for a month or two then have a half price sale. Fingers crossed for 8421 at Christmas this year at Kmart. -Brad (19 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Lego Buildings with 4 Walls

(...) I would guess that it isn't the AFOL's that would disparage the "doll house" comparison, but I bet the 8-10 year old boys might have a problem with it. (...) Those lucky enough to live near a pick-a-brick location know that 1x4x3's aren't that (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Jake Chat II - Transcript

(...) Another "unofficial" response: I think we can all make the general inference that the sets were at once ordered and structured. Lego itself is too disorganized, it doesn't know its right hand from its left, therefore, you have a disorganized (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: I need technic!!!...!!!

"Todd Thuma" <thumat@gactr.uga.edu> wrote in message news:H07ywx.98@lugnet.com... (...) I have been saying this since the release of the 8485 Technic Control Center II, but I'd love to see massive Technic dinosaurs. Up to three to four feet long (...) (22 years ago, 2-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)

Is the Technic brand being phased out?

After putting together the cool new 8010 Darth Vader "Technic Set" last night, I noticed that the box does not even say "Technic" on it. This got me wondering, so today, I took a closer look at the upcoming "Technic sets" here, (URL) low and behold, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: old sets return

(...) Doh! They are gone... I guess I should of ordered, the Pizza To Go said available at $19.99. They had 10xxx numbers, I think they are remakes, not old stock. Hopefully they come back... Robin W (22 years ago, 9-Feb-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: New Train Sets #10013 and #10014

I don't think Brad ever said the Legend were the ONLY sets to be in the 10xxx range, I think he just noted they'd be IN the new 10xxx range. They had to move to 5digit sooner or later, they've already doubled up on too many #s before. (...) -- Tom (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)
