Neurochemistry doctoral research- May 2001-present. Illinois State University Department of Biological Sciences. Experimental models utilizing fast-scan cyclic voltammetry.

Biochemistry Technician- July 1998-December 1998. University of Florida Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Chemokine research utilizing recombinant DNA techniques.

In 2004, I applied for an NIH predoctoral grant. Though I was not funded, I gained experience not often expected of a doctoral-student.

I have presented my research at the 2003 and 2004 Society for Neuroscience meetings.
