My top Ten Lego List: (note: some are more than 1 set but when put together add up to something special)

AIRPORT SHUTTLE

1. Airport Shuttle - like set, nothing matches this set....nothing

2. Metroliner (and Club Car) - this set is so beautiful, and the best replica of a Amtrak train!!

3. Century Skyway - probably the best airport set (and close to the best town set)

4. Central Precinct Police Station - (big fan of police/fire stations, functional, pretty nice, and very large

5. Flame Fighters - again fan of police/fire stations, cool looking building and really nice apparatus

6. Emergency Treatment Center - a must have for any town set-up, and any “Emgergeny Fans

7. Flying Ninja Fortress (w/ Stone Tower Bridge) anchor of the Ninja Series and is the most beautiful building Lego has put out as of late, lots of pieces, and a must have for any mideival fan and a definite set to have if you are big on far-eastern history!!

8. Launch ‘N’ Load Seaport - another must have for any town, especially if you have a cargo center or freight train

9. Freight Loading Station - the crane is unique, the set is large (one of the largest train add-ons, at least in this day and age)

10. Imperial Trading Post - looks like a mini-village (good tie-in with town and pirate series)

Honorable Mentions:

Poolside Paradise - gets mentioned because house is nice and has a lot of unique pieces, theme is a bit girlie but adds unique color and landscape to any town (favorite set from this theme)

Pharoah’s Forbidden Ruins - looks real life like and has a lot of pieces, real good use as a ancient egyptian museum (Fav Adventure set)

Dungeon Masters Castle or Royal Knights Castle (actually both of them) - both have unique designs that are very cool, and not only that, but they both have lots of pieces!!!

Metro Park and Service Tower - looks real functional and contains lots of pieces (don’t really need another gas pump though)

Fort Legoredo - a must have for any collection, set is huge and anchor to the western theme

Soccor Challenge - not just a pretty soccor stadium, but able to play soccor on it with the mini-figs (yes!!) also set is modulized so that you can add grandstands, lights, and a cool add-on (sports coverage!!)

Hiway Construction - this is my favorite Town Junior set (YUCKIE - I hate Town, JR!!) but this set has very cool “bridge” road plates

Super Rescue Center - had to slip in another fire/police station set, this one has both in one set. Too juniorized and over priced but has a lot of extra pieces with it, so it could be a good starter set for those who only just started collecting town sets ---- sucks to be you (there is always e-bay :-) )

Favorite Small Sets (all the sets above are “large sets”, so I decided to highlight some of the smaller sets)

1. Ambulance 6666 - great set (liked it so much I have 2) the ambulance attendant is really rare!!

2. Airport Fire Squad - spent 9 months on e-bay before being able to aquire it!!!

3. Bank - Town, Jr. edition, I hate the building but absolutely adore the amoured car!!!

4. Emergency Evac I - from the Launch Command, looks nice and another fire apparatus!!!

5. Amazon Crossing - unique pieces though not very practical (bridge could be designed better on these sets) but loved the truck so I got another set - with 2 of these, I can have traffic going over a river in both directions!!!

6. Refuse Collection Truck - great looking set, nice realism (love that tilting action (to dump the trash at the dump) Trash cans can be raised and poured into the truck!! Very clever idea
