| Dear Jack User, While I understand that you may be upset (revise as needed to show some understanding) his post http://news.lugnet.com/mumble/?n=NNN (change to correct URL) has been found to contain unacceptable levels of profanity and abusive language/unacceptably divisive language/unacceptable proprietary information. It has/has not been murfled. (for an explanation of murfling see (url??)) CHOOSE ONE: We would like to suggest that you ask that it be cancelled although since LUGNET is a no censorship model, we are not requireing it. OR Since this post contains material that is in violation of US law, we have taken the action of cancelling your post. This is a very rare circumstance which we regret, but you leave us no other choice. Further, whether you ask for a cancel or not, in accordance with the policies outlined here: http://news.lugnet.com/admin/general/?n=12017 we have decided that a timeout is appropriate, and accordingly, your posting privileges to LUGNET have been revoked for approximately 48 (change time) hours. CHOOSE ONE: You will still be allowed to post to lugnet.admin.* but are not allowed to post to any other groups. OR Since the infraction occured in part of the lugnet.admin hierarchy, you will not be allowed to post to any LUGNET group. Please respond (per the process outlined in: http://news.lugnet.com/admin/general/?n=12017) to this note. Specifically you slould acknowledge receipt of the note and understanding of the consequences, and agree not to circumvent the timeout by posting from a different email identifier, even if that email identifer is already registered and was not administratively restricted, or by any other means of circumvention. Failure to acknowledge the note back, or trying to circumvent the timeout may be cause, in the sole judgment of the admins, for imposition of additional timeouts. If you have any questions about this warning please feel free to contact any admin, or all of us, via the mail addresses given here: http://www.lugnet.com/admin/ Joe Admin LUGNET Policy Administrator LUGNET Member #N On behalf of the Policy Administration Team |
