Police Station with Rotating Chase Scene

This was built for the April 6th NCLTC train show add a bit of animation and fun to the layout. (Click on the pictures to get a larger view.)

The downstairs houses a motor and transmission that rotates the entire upstairs. There are plenty of windows for younguns to take in the action; the roof is made up mostly of windows as well so that tall people can watch, too. The roof slides off since I image this will be a ‘high maintenance’ attraction.

The turntable has two pairs chasing and being chased on opposite sides.

Most of the detail is put into the corner offices that serve as a backdrop to the action.

This view from the back shows the workstations in the front windows and the everpresent coffee maker (the black splotch in the lower right).
