Wedding Cake Topper
| | This is a cake topper I built for my wedding. My wife, who usually only tolerates my LEGO habit, actually encouraged me to build this.
To the right, you can see the actual wedding party, although not in the same order as on the cake topper. Construction was pretty basic, just minifigs on tiles, with an arch thrown in for decoration.

| | The minifigs did involve some LEGO modification. Making the bridesmaids only entailed minor work - using Brasso to take the print off of two light blue torsos.
The head of the second usher from the center started as this, but was Brassoed to remove the stubble and sculpt the hairstyle.
The third usher from center is actually taller than the rest. This was achieved by taking two black basket pieces and cutting away the basket, leaving only the neck ring. The neck rings were then placed over the leg studs of the usher, making him slightly taller.

| | The priest’s head is Harry Potter with his lightning bolt Brassoed away. Mine and my wife’s minifigs are unmodified.
