Sigil

The sigil was inspired by the TIE Agressor from Star Wars Galaxies. The TIE Agressor is a TIE craft that has a gunturret on the back, making it an extremely nasty opponent. So I thought “Let’s counter that”.

And so, the Sigil was born. A nice, decent multi-role craft, well-ballanced and efficient. The two weapon slots for the pilot, plus a turret facing the rear make the sigil a great craft for closing off or defending an area by constant patrolling, as the name would suggest (sigil means “seal”). Also, it can be an efficient attacker. It might not be fast, but it has the rear gunner to cover the getaway.

As far as the model goes, I don’t know if it has any major flaws, because I haven’t built it, yet. I was, however, surprised by the parts-count. I thought it would be higher.

Parts: 286

I will, someday, assemble this model. I’ll let you know when I do!
