Belbullab 22

The Belbullab 22 made a short appearance in Star Wars, Episode III, where it served General Grievous as an escape craft. I didn’t base this model on the few seconds you get to see it in the movie though. I used Star Wars Galaxies, a Star Wars-themed Massive Multiplayer On-line Role Playing Game(what a mouthfull!) as a refferrence. In this game you actually get to fly it. The Bel22 (as it is more commonly refferred to) was actually the first craft I attemped to make in LEGO. I still feel it turned out quite good.

I designed and assembled this craft long before LEGO came out with a set of it. I think LEGO’s Bel22 isn’t as accurate a representation as mine is, but mine’s a bit more.. Part-inefficient, so to say.. It has quite a high parts-count.

Parts: 331

As I mentioned earlier, I have assembled this model already. It has, however, turned out slightly different, on the count of some parts not being available.
