Golishar T

In january 2007 I found this on the inspiration sites
of mechahub.
The shape of this machine imediately caught my eye
and thought. The same eavening I started building.
From the beginning I didn’t go for a perfect rebuild.
My goal was to capture the soul of the artwork.

After checking out my brick cases I went for a classic blue/light gray
color scheme. Thus the biggest amount of brick shapes should be available.
This decission was a good one. There was no need to purchase any bricks.

After the first weekend the legs frame and the basic shape of the body was
allready finished. It took two more weeks to get the whole thing finished.

Without any change it was on display twice since then. The rest of the time
I had it on my brickshelf. As time went by I found more and more points which
could have been solved better.
In january 2008 I decided to go for a complete rebuild in dark bluish gray and
sand blue. But that’s a different story.

Golishar T

Im Januar 2007 stieß ich im Inspirationsbereich von
mechahub auf dieses Computermodel. Das Aussehen
und der “Charakter” dieser Maschine zogen mich
sofort in ihren Bann. Noch am selben Abend begann
ich zu bauen.
Ich hatte nie einen genauen Nachbau im Sinn. Viel-
mehr wollte ich die “Seele” dieses Kunstwerks ein-
fangen.

Nachdem ich meine Steinebestand geprüft hatte, entschied ich mich für ein
blau/hellgarues Farbschema. Damit sollte die größte Anzahl an Steinformen
verfügbar sein. Die Entscheidung erwies sich als gut. Ich mußte nicht einen
Stein kaufen

Nach dem ersten Wochenende waren das Beinskelett und die Form des Körpers
bereits fertig. Trotzdem dauerte es noch zwei weitere Wochen bis das Modell
schließlich fertig war.

Ohne weiter Änderunegn stellte ich Golishar T am TSL07 und BB07 aus. Die restliche
Zeit stand er im Regal. Nach und nach fand ich immer mehr Punkte, die mir mißfielen.
Im Januar 2008 begann ich einen kompletten Neubau in Neudunkelgrau und Sandblau.
Aber das ist eine andere Geschichte.
