For sometime I had thought about a frame for a small Mecha now and then. I never got started with it. For the MPC 2005 I wanted to enter with a Small Mecha, so I finally gave it a try. What came out was a really poseable little thing. Anybody who looks a bit closer will easily see the influences. The hip joints and the waist I borrowed from Christopher Sneads Microbots. It was my goal to have feet which fully stand on the ground at any position of the leg joints. Thus Shiko stands quite stable. Except for the hinge plates on the elbows and knees all joints are stud or click connections. Getting the right proportions was not that easy due to the overall size. But Im quite satisfied about them. Only the feet are a bit to long I think. Ill have to refine them! |
