Background: Burtrand was raised on the sea and became a pirate at the age of 16. He then spent the next 14 years pirating in the Great sea off the coast of Battens and around the Crown Isle. He worked his way up until he had acquired enough money to purchase his own ship, the Hornet. Burt heard rumors of a rich land of many islands. Taking the best crew he could find, he set out to find these Islands, and dominate the flow of goods therein.

Other: Burtrand is from my fantasy world that mostly exists in my mind, but will eventually exist in bricks. This world has fairly advanced sea-faring capability, but no gunpowder or anything else that doesn’t fit into medieval times.
