Bjarn surveyed the group that now was scattered across the deck of the weary Shadow. Their number had swelled from five to eight; Reno, his long lost brother Aros, Willem Blackcloak and his fellow Wolfpack member Graydon, Barbod the Bull-Crest King, Drakko the once-Black Falcon soldier, himself, and Smyth the captured pirate, who was chained to the mainmast.

“What an odd assortment we are.” he said to Willem, “Tis odd how the fates brought us together.”

Willem nodded and continued to sharpen his twin daggers on a grindstone. “Aye, tis.” was his reply. Presently he stood up and slipped his daggers into his belt. “I’m a bit hungry, care for anything?”

Bjarn shook his head. “I’m fine thanks.”

Willem departed but within a minute his was back up on deck, his face pale and boots soaking. “The Shadow is sinking.” he said simply. Nathan Wells Gaming Admin

“The shadow is sinking” Willem simply replyed. “Thats all we need...” Reno said, he was in the cabin, with his new found brother, Aros The two brothers simply stared at each other, not saying a word. Aros raised his hand to his Pendant slowly rubbing it. Reno stared this is my brother... i should talk to him Reno thought to himself. “So where have you been all these years...” Reno asked Aros staring deep into his eyes. “i have been looking for you...” Aros replyed. The converstion was dull until the two brothers began to relax, and talk more confidently. “So you have been searching for me, where did your travels take you?” Reno asked Aros. Aros recounted the tale of only 3 years ago he had ventured too close to a trolls lair and barly escaped. Reno thought it was like when he was younger, when his father would tell him storys about adventurers. His father told him storys about ’ Garalt the Brave and the 4 dragons ’ and ’ Garadaine the Strong ‘. Aros talked about his adventures and quests. “Now more about your self, my brother” Aros said to Reno. my brother.... i actually have famlily! Reno told Aros about the meeting of his new friends and about the pirates.

Willem’a statement was accepted calmly and with little panic. Graydon, who was at the helm, grimaced, locked the rudder in place and joined Bjarn and Willem. “How deep is the water? he asked.

Willem pointed to his trousers that were wet up to the ankle. “And that’s in the cabin,” he said, “The rest of the ship is completly underwater.”

Bjarn swore. “TYCO! Pirates, Falcons, sinking ships, low food supplies and dire wounds! What’s next???”

“It’s what you deserve you stinkin Forestman!! Curse you!” shouted Smyth from the mainmast.

“Why don’t we throw him overboad, would lighten the ship a lot.” Graygon muttered.

“It’s a tempting thought...”

Suddenly Aros cried out. “Land! I see land!”

Every except Smyth, Barbod and Drakko rushed to the side of the ship to peer hopefully at the ocean.

For a few minutes the ship full of happiness until Bjarn spoke. “I’ve just checked the chart lads, and if I’m not mistaken, those islands are Knight’s Kingdom territory.”

Every groaned with dispair. Nathan Wells Gaming Admin

Barbod swong himself to his feet, and almost imidatly fell back. “Ah...“Barbod growned in pain. “Are you okey to walk Barbod?” Asked Drakko, leaning over him. “I’m fine Drakko..” Barbod muddered, rising again to his feet. He swong his cape over his sholders and clipped it into place. “My sheild, Drakko?” Barbod smiled dully, as Drakko handed the bull crest sheild to the bull king. Barbod Took his spear into his hands and strode to the front of the ship, next to Bjarn. “Knights Kingdom islands....” Barbod said lowly, still in alot of pain. “Aye...” Bjarn said, looking to the patches in the distance. “The bulls never had a good relation with them...” “You didn’t have a good relation with anyone, did you?” Bjarn smiled. Barbod began to laugh, but it was halted by a shot of pain. “And we are out of Reno’s healing potion to?” Barbod asked “Aye..“Bjarn muttered, “Any damage here is for keeps...” Yertle has fallen, and is king of the mud, Now Barbapple is king, As Barbapple should.

Almost before Barbod had finished his sentence the Shadow shuddered violently and twisted until the ship’s starboard side was facing the distant isles. With one last graon, the Shadow tilted and everything that was not tied down slid to the port side as the entire ship tilted 20 degrees.

Aros picked himself up and swore. “BEST-LOCK!! What was that???”

“That,” said Bjarn slowly, “was a reef.”

“We’re run aground??”

“Yes, and the only thing we can do about it is sit here and wait for some one to pick us up.” Nathan Wells Gaming Admin

“yep and theres only one thing to do, wait here and wait for someone to pick me up”

The ship shook, “cant we move?” Aros asked quizzically. Barbod limped over to where Drakko was standing. “obviously not....” Barbod said, looking out onto the distant isles. Storm clouds gathered over head, but lookily, Drakko managed to do some handy work, and stop the ship from sinking. Reno slipped down to the below quarters, and looked ariund the areas. He found nothing, exept some ill gotten treasure, and a log book. Reno opened the little log book and began reading.

Dear log, Today i have created a secret compartment with things that may come in useful, weapons, supplys and other things... It is located in my compartment, thats why it is so small... Also we saw the legendary and foreboding ’ King cutter ’ the ship of death. All our crew hid,but the danger went away. It is said that that very same ship patrols the fright knights lands (N17). I had a terrible dream, that we came in a storm and got shipwrecked upon Fright Knight lands and i travelled to other fright knight lands... We are going to the Crusaders port, we hope they dont steal our ship... Crusaders dont like outlaws.... Daner Pluto

Reno took in the information, he had heard of a Wizard named Daner Pluto, he made prophecies, and lived near Fright Knight lands. This had gott to be Daner Pluto, he had heard his other speak that name.... Reno wondered how Daner was connected, this ship, his mother, himself. Reno made his way back up to the deck.

Grid: I 13 Location:Black Knight border inn.

Daner sat there smoking a pipe, looking around the room. He was in a Black Knight border inn, a place where travellers of all sorts travelled. Daner kept his head down, as somebody could know him. Daner thought about when his boat, The Shaldo and when him and his crew got shipwrecked on an island, by the ’ King Cutter ‘. The island was friendly, apart from when they held a spear at Daners neck and killed his crew. They took Daner to there kings fortress, it was a palace fit for the devil himself. The Knights showed him to there lord, and the lord sent him over to other Fright Knight lands, that is unill he came into Shalodorf the wizards posestion. Shalodorf taught him the ways of the Sorcerer, and handed him over to Durak Maquez, the bat lord. It is then that he learnt of his ship been sold to the crusaders. Hello!!!!

Alex awoke. He was on the dock of crusaders. Ho lifted him self up, but he got hit in the head with a spear head, and slowly fell down. “ALEX!!” Calkony was standing there. “You have failed me! Now you must suffer the consequences!” Calkony said, he motioned for the guards to put chains around Alex. Alexs head throbbed but he got up, he then bashed Calkony in the side of the head, Calkony fell to the floor, rubbing his ear. Alex then burst past the guards knocking them off the dock and into the sea. He ran through town and stopped at a clothes store. He went into the store and chose a black pair of trousers, but kept his red shirt on and his base armour, he left the rest oif his uniform in the changing room, and travelled out of town. if you kill 1 man you are a murderer if you kill 10 men you are a monster if you kill 100 men you are a hero if you kill 1000 men you are a conqueror!!

Grid: L-18 Location: The ship Shadow, impaled on a reef near the coast of the Knight’s Kingdom Isle.

We are in deep megabloks, Bjarn thought as he sat at the stern of the immobile Shadow, Eight companions on a broken ship in hostile territory. Great. How did I ever get myself into this?

Reno joined Bjarn and stared out at the distant Knight’s Kingdom lands. “We are in deep megabloks, aren’t we Bjarn?” the young adventurer asked.

“Aye,” replied Bjarn, amused, “I was just thinking that very thing.”

Reno shivered. “Of the islands we have to run around near to it has to the be the megabloks Knight’s Kingdom. I heard there were knights there who dressed in outlandish colors and have castles built up on high exposed rock faces.”

Bjarn grunted but did not reply.

Reno turn and aproached Bjarn and withdrew a small booklet from a pocket. “I found this in the cabin. Read it and tell me what you think.”

Bjarn only took thirty seconds to scan the diary.

“Odd...” he murmered, “Very odd.”

“I think this Daner Pluto might hold to answer about those two penants given to my brother and myself.” Reno persisted.

“He very could be...” said Bjarn, “It seems strange this ship we commendeered from the Crusader was originally this fellow’s.”

Reno nodded “It all fits. The original name I painted over when we named the ship Shadow was Shaldo!”

Bjarn looked a little awed. “Odd that the names are so similar, it’s as if...”

“...it was ment to be.” Reno finished. Nathan Wells Gaming Admin

“It was meant to be...” Reno finished “Aye... this Daner, a very powerful wizard and prophecie maker....” Reno said looking down onto the deck. Barbod was sharpening his spear, Drakko was looking at the charts, Gragon was staring into a small glass bottle and willem was juggling with his knives. The ship violently shudered, there was a small noise from Smyth but Barbod slapped him and told him to shut up. The ship seemed to be moving again! It was sailing towards the way the current was taking the ship, Knight Kingdom. “Hey Reno, didnt you say there were supplys in a secret room in the under rooms?” Willem asked Reno “yeah... its in the captains compartments, it contains food, clothes weapons....” “I was thinking, we cannot go into Knight Kingdom lands in Falcon and bull gear! Me and Drakko will go down and change into something more casual...” Barbod went down into the under comparments.

30 minutes later they came back, wearing pretty much the same clorthes, apart from the insignia the clothes had. They had a couple of boxes of supplys and weapons. Reno came over and ate the supplys he had in his pack, and restocked on Rations, as did the other members of the group. The group also sharpened there weapons, and got ranged weapons, from throwing knives to throwing spike balls. All the group got a map each. The storm cloud was now getting blacker.

Bjarn surveryed the eight companions preparing for battle. Turning, he obseved the ever-closer isle. Come on Shadow, you can make it! he urged silently. The storm at their back was pushing the limping ship in the right direction, but the Shadow was moving slower and slower at the ocean filled her hull.

By midday the storm was at her peak. Wind thrashed against the hull and tugged at the sails. Giant waves cascaded down on the eight-man crew as they grimly held on for dear life. Suddenly when they thought the worst was over the Shadow gave one last sigh and rolled side ways. Within five seconds the main mast had snapped, the Shadow had flipped on her side and everyone of her deck was thrown into the water.

Utter chaos insued. Nathan Wells Gaming Admin

“We should split up and meet back at the shore!”Reno shouted “its only a little way to swim!” Willem added, the group began swimming in the cold, and murky waters “YO!! what about me!” Smyth, the captive pirate shouted “Reno and Aros will go together, Graygon, Willem go together! Drakko and Barbod, and Me and this scum!” Bjarn shouted grabbing Smyth and pulling him along. The group began to swim through the cold waters and throuh the storm.

Grid: H 21 Location: Minas’s mansion

The Dark Lights were in a small black knight town, the group were here as all sorts of people wanted other ’ dirty jobs ’ doing. Jones and his group were on there way to kill a man. Lord Snikular had made a deal with the ’ Dark Lights’ and if they killed an opposing warlord he would pay alot. The warlord that was challenging Snikular, lord Minas had settled over on this island, and Snikular would pay alot of money to see the challenging lord eliminated. Jones, were at the entrance of the Mansion of Minas guards guarded the gates. The group sneaked around the walls, waiting for an oppurtunitty. “Chen!” Jones hissed. “Boss?” Chen answered quikly, “Now” Jones whispered. Chen stood and pulled out his scimitar and shot over to the guards, he was lightning fast, and made short work of the guards. The group hid the bodies in a nearby bush, Koilo took out a bottle with a black powder in it. Jones had bought this powder off an adventurer named Aros, it was to explode any lock, silently. Jones poured a smll bit of powder and waited for the silent blast. It happened, there was a small crack and the gate swung open, they were in.

The thrashing pirate slowed Bjarn down greatly, but he just gripped Smyth tighter and pushed ahead. He could see the shore ahead, but he had lost sight of the rest of his companions. Bjarn gamely pushed on towing the useless pirate behind him. Suddenly his feet struck the sandy bottom and he pulled himself upright. Spitting out seawater, Bjarn looked toward the distand Shadow. Only the mainmast of the valiant little ship remained, the sails fluttering in the tearing wind. Bjarn’s attention was distracted by Smyth, who was floundering in the shallows.

“Help me, I can’t swim!” he wailed.

“Stand up you megabloks, the water less than a foot deep.” Bjarn growled.

The defeated pirate stood up sheepishly, all the fight gone from him. Suddenly Smyth’s eyes widened. Before Bjarn could reactet, he felt the blade of a sword pressed to his back.

“Don’t move.” snarled a voice from behind him.

Bjarn turned slowly to look into a strangly colored helm. Purple? Bjarn thought, Young Reno was right. Nathan Wells Gaming Admin

Barbod slowly made his way to the shore, a few feet infront of Drakko. Saltwater splashed into his eyes, causing Barbod to wince. He sunk into the water, but felt his feet touch the shoreline. He ran up the shore untill his head poped out of the water. He took a gasp of air, and walked onto the beach.

He scilently made his way off the beach, to an aria from wich smoke was rising. “By the brick, Drakko!” Barbod whispered to the young knight that stood at his side, “A Red knight!” Barbod shook the flood of crazy thoughts out of his head, and hurled his spear thre the sholder of his victem. “You will be our guide!” Barbod said, in a menicing voice, yanking his spear from the sholder of the red knight. THe knight dove for his sword, and successfuly obtained it. He charged to barbod. Yertle has fallen, and is king of the mud, Now Barbapple is king, As Barbapple should.
