Abidians and Iudi

Abidians and Iudi are both minorities within Caerany.

The key difference between Iudi and Abids is how they paint their faces: Iudi, like Uganu, paint their entire face white, while Abids, like Etune, paint their faces white and red. All Iudi peoples paint their faces, usually a different style for each settlement area. Hence, white with blue outline is from Ombadinu, while white and red is from Abidibad (Abidia).

The Iudi are centered in Oelia, for trading purposes.

Uganu

Uganu is a well known traveler, going as far as Loelia, and even to Lonsana. His favorite place is Oelia, however. Many claim he is having a love affair with Isabel, but no hard evidence exists. Uganu is wise and very knowledgable, and while the Lonsans dismiss him as a savage, he is far from it. The Iudi are excellent fighters, mostly coming from the Iudi town Ombadinu, which is a harsh swampland.

The Abidians actually live in Caerany, on the eastern-most coast. They are usually found in Port Daerndd, but sometimes go inland to Coplton, rarely as far as Glen Caer. They are generally peaceful, but, like all Caers, are well versed in using weapons.

Etune

Etune is not actually the leader of the Abidians, but he is the best known and most revered. He considers himself a pacifist, using his bow only for hunting. However, it is well understood that he does believe in self-defence.
