LEGO Engineering Conference 2007 Singapore 13-14 March, 2007 at National Institute of Education, Singapore There isnt much at the official site. So this is just my own stuff. The Rolling Ball Display Clock was a crowd puller It doesnt keep accurate time, really. But its a fun way to learn Maths, Science and D&T. Jacques is telling me to use heavier balls - steel balls like ball bearings. But the GBC is supposed to use the LEGO soccer balls. Besides this was a LEGO Engineering Conference. The only non-LEGO items were the EOPD sensors on the Legway. This lady is more fascinated by the Ball Pump, wondering how it works. Thats the spirit! Getting Legway using ROBOLAB 2.9 to stand up is a bit tricky and fun to watch Demonstrating Datalogging with Remote Controlled NXT to Prof Chris Rogers The NXT robot on the floor is remotely controlled via BT and goes round collecting data which are displayed on the PC as waveform charts. The program is written in LabVIEW using the NXT Toolkit. LabVIEW rocks! The Back-room Boys Without these people, there would have been no show (hope I got the grammar right). They may be Kampong Kids but they are going to go far - where no one else has gone before. Till they fall off the edge of the universe... More pics and presentations Sometimes you will get the message: This folder is not yet public. Be patient and try again later. Or you can go to the following direct links.
