  Re: Autumnal Awesomeness!

(...) All good-natured snark aside, you have proven to be right in so many ways, Dave! I have become a total fan of clones, especially when they are produced by fans themselves. Pandora's box is open; let the mayhem ensue! JOHN (12 years ago, 14-May-12, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Autumnal Awesomeness!

(...) Another gorgeous clone brand! I love it! All good-natured snark aside, these really do produce a remarkably lovely scene. Terrific job on the trees themselves, and this new-colored foliage is a great addition to the palette! (...) Very nice, very autumny. Have you tried mixing colours in a tree to see what it looks like? ROSCO (12 years ago, 4-May-12, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Autumnal Awesomeness!

John, I am very lucky to say I have had a chance to see those leaves in Green. They are very very well done. I hope when you make you way up here for Brickfete.com that you manage to pack a few bags of the other colours in with the B.E.D. Shirt(1) (...)   Autumnal Awesomeness!

Steve Barile has created these great LEGO leaves in Fall colors, and I have been building with them, and wanted to show them off:-) I'm planning on swapping out all of the green trees on the TCLTC layout with "Steve's Leaves" every autumn, just as a (...) (...) Oh now you're corrupted! the drilling holes won't be the end of it--not by a long shot :) The landing pad looks fantastic! nicely done!! And now that you're on this long road of lifelites, prepare to drill more holes all over the layout! :) (...) (...) Thanks, Steve. As you already know all too well, the credit goes to Ross! (URL) The interior lights and the subway lights are the same; I found them on ebay. (URL) is a link. We run about 3 of those off of a 9 volt transformer. JOHN (12 years ago, 9-Feb-12, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

Re: Weekly Feature of the TCLTC Layout: Update using Lifelites, Part Deux

Hi John, How are you lighting the subway. And then on the next couple videos it your layout at "night". What kind of lights are you using to light the building interiors? Very nice BTW! SteveB (12 years ago, 9-Feb-12, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

Weekly Feature of the TCLTC Layout: Update using Lifelites, Part Deux

I promised two updates this week, and so here is the second one for this week, and it actually involves more (URL) Lifelites>.   Re: Weekly Feature of the TCLTC Layout: TCLTC Subway Stations

(...) I think I know about which bridge you speak;-) Yup, Brickfair and Brickfête. AND Brickworld. Hopefully Brickscascade. But mostly as a vendor selling Brickwear. But I'll bring some Brickmocs, too. That's a lot of bricks! JOHN (12 years ago, 30-Jan-12, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

Re: Weekly Feature of the TCLTC Layout: TCLTC Subway Stations

(...) Wow! I'm going to need to borrow a bridge from Paul to support that monster. Also, Your coming to Brickfair? This is going to be fun. Cale (12 years ago, 30-Jan-12, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

Re: Weekly Feature of the TCLTC Layout: TCLTC Subway Stations

(...) Yeah, I have vague recollections of trolleys crashing down onto our PennLUG layout at that show. And it was a lot of fun. Maybe we can do it again some day. Lately the only trolleys crashing on our layout have been our own. Cale (12 years ago, 30-Jan-12, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

Re: Weekly Feature of the TCLTC Layout: TCLTC Subway Stations

(...) Thanks, Cale. Oh man, you remember that??!! Yeah, touch sensors aren't the way to go with that set-up. We did it that way because we couldn't fit the backside of the layout in the car! That was a good show; we had a great time. JOHN (12 years ago, 29-Jan-12, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)
