Is this a presentation of pictures, and if so have you seen my versions?
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=707131
I have quite a few of Thomas' friends too, if you need pics of them. Stepney
the Bluebell Engine is the yellow engine behind Thomas in the picture. The red
Hogwarts engine is a proper Hall class engine, the type used in the first HP
film.

Yes, I did see your pictures, and I have included them in my presentation. Soon
I will post the presentation online.
If you have other pictures than these, I would love to see them!

Russell -
Have you got my Thomas (medium blue), Stepney (tan & black) and James-ish (0-6-0
Fowler in dark red)? I've got a better camera now so I might be able to take
some improved pictures.

This is the only pic of yours I have:

If you have others I'd like to include them.

Not only has Stepney the wrong number of wheels, so do Annie and Clarabel. In
the books (the real source material) they are bogie coaches

Has anyone done Thomas, Stepney or other Awdry engines with BBB wheels and
moving rods yet?
BTW, these are also Awdry characters:
Toby the Tram, who has a book to himself:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=706024
BoCo (class 28), featured in Main Line Engines:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=707083
and Bear (Hymek, class 35), rescued by Henry in Enterprising Engines:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=707088
This pic shows Duck the Great Western engine (to the right of the Hogwarts
engine) and Toad the brakevan (hiding behind the signal next to Duck)
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=707167
Sadly, these might be a bit small for the presentation. However, my Hogwarts
coach is an 8mm scale coach, built from pictures of the real thing. I'd like to
get hold of enough burnt orange pieces to do Annie and Clarabel, but not even 11
Yodas is enough.
Here's another pic of Thomas and the Hogwarts engine:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=707132
In total I have 7 Awdry characters, and more are in production - Diesel (class
08) and Wilbert (J94). The kids love them at exhibitions, and Thomas gets
plenty of exercise (though he's been a bit lazy recently as his rods were
sticking a bit).
Is the presentation one of famous engines in books and films?

I have to admit that I when I downloaded the original version ages ago I was
very pleasantly surprised and excited to see my (CAD) rendition of Toby
included. I really will have to finish it and include a better way of joining it
all together inside now I have learnt some new techniques. Unfortunatly I can't
see me ever making it as good as the CAD model, the brown windows just wouldn't
look as right in any of the available colours

Replying to my own post I know, sorry
I forgot to say that one day I'm also going to do Toby's coaches, the
destinctive Wisbech and Upwell balcony ended ones, both to bogie one seen here
http://www.mandgn.co.uk/wisbech.html and the similar but shorter four wheeled
one.
