I would echo the sentiments of others who have replied.  Save for the
pneumatics pack from Lego Shop at Home, the Tow Truck is the best way to get
started.  Not only does it give you some great parts, it actually teaches
you some very interesting uses for the system.  I purchase my Tow Truck
model on ebay, however a search on brickwise revealed a few at about the
same price.

The Dacta kit I saw in the catalog had instructions for building an air
powered robot arm.  This looks interesting and if anyone else has actually
built this model, I would love to hear your reviews.

I've never played with Lego pneumatics, but I've been wanting to try
it.  What's the best way to get started (in terms of cost)?  What set
has the most and best set of pneumatic equipment?  Or is it better to
try to buy the parts individually?
