The Eastern Block has it’s roots in the Eastern European countries of Earth, but it really is more of a idealogical government, with races from all over Earth and it’s colonies. With a communistic approach, the Eastern Block prefers to use older, more tried and true technologies that require less maintenence over newer more radical technology.
