You know I checked my infiltraitor last night I I could have sworn it had
lt-female and dk-male. This is driving me crazy lately because I have all the
SW sets (Many multiple times) and I can't put together a matching pair anywhere
and they are sorted but male and female. I guess I could have messed up or
something.
I guess I know what I am going to be doing tonight. Seaching through every
click hinge I own looking for a dkgray-female and gray-male click hinges.
I just hope you all aren't pulling my leg ;-)

Don't forget to check stuff you made, they might be hiding! I'm pretty sure
7151 is the set that comes with the reversed colors(1); have you checked the
instructions? I know that there is a set that does, but I may be mistaken
about which set.

Believe me if they are to be found I will find them tonight. If I have to read
every last instruction book to find them. :-)

OK found'em. They are not in the Sith Infiltraitor they are in Sebulba's Pod
Racer which explains why I could not find them. I only have one of these and
it is still on display. Although this may now change very soon so I can
extract those hinges :-)

I'm positive the reversed colors came on Sebulba's pod ('cause I noticed
when I was building my Viper and canibalizing SW sets for parts)

I was just wondering if anyone else thought that this was odd? Why would LEGO
use Gray-female and dkGray-male click hinges in all of the 1999 Star Wars
models except one then reverse the colors for that set (Sebulba's Pod)?
This is especially odd to me because of all the models the hinges in Sebulba's
Pod are probably the least visible of the hinges in any of the models. Would
it not have been more cost effective of them to run the same colors for
Sebulba's Pod as they did for the other sets?
Don't get me wrong I am happy to find I actually have matching hinges now but
it just seems strange to me that LEGO would have made the change for one set.
They could have easily used the colors that were running on their manufacturing
lines for the other sets.

Woo hoo!!! I win!!!
Yeah, it couldn't have been the Sith Infiltrator because I definitely have
only eight of these hinges, yet I have bought and sorted four Sith
Infiltrators.
Great set! Mmmmm, grey...... ;-)
