Well this is my first attempt at 2 things.

1.  A Walker
2.  Freelance space model as an AFOL

This model is loosely based on the Star Wars AT-PT.  I was attempting an • AT-PT
and found that it was going to be very hard to make an AT-PT to scale.  I • then
decided to use it as inspiration and this is what I have come up with so • far.

For the most part I like the general design but I am sure it will change
somewhat over the next couple of weeks as it seems most of my models do.

The interior is fully detailed although I have not taken any interior • pictures
so far.  There is an engine in the back and the 2 crew members sit back to
back.  One crew member is the pilot and the other is a gunner/navigator.

Let me know what you think.

It looks like an AT-PT, and I think it is well built. Did you paint it or do
you actually have all those dark-grey parts?

Paint, no way man :) .  I am somewhat of a LEGO purist in that I don't paint or
otherwise modify LEGO parts (I do pull arms and legs off and replace them
however and to some this is very non-purist behavior).

So those are actually all dkgray bricks.  I still have a lot of dkgray slopes
thanks to the Star Wars sets.  I used up all of my 1x4 bricks and all of my
large plates in dkgray to make this model however.
