I was playing around with my Scout and using a microscout as a third motor using the VLL and fibre optics. It has limited use due to the length restrictions of the fibre optic cable and the microscout motor is not the easiest to use or mount. I have (...) While programming a Scout using BrickCC, no matter how many times I tried, I could not get the Scout to 'float' its motors. At the end of last year I finally signed up for high speed internet access from Comcast. Included in the agreement (with my wife) is that I would get rid of my long association with AOL. I've had the JohnBinder AOL email address for many, many years (...) (...) You can program the Scout brick using NQC. Is that what you mean by "new"? You can also program the Scout brick using MindScript and LASM. All three of these languages are supported in BricxCC. (...) Martin, Rob, I found the same thing with Martin did. I bought RDS and an USB IR Tower. They work well but I have to set the USB IR Tower range to short (through the control panel of my WINDOWS 98) for downloading NQC programs. Otherwise, (...)
