I am working on a program that uses RoboLab 2.9 with the camera. When I open the
Vision Center I get an image but when I run my program I get no image just black
then a speckled image. I tried running my program with Vision Center running and
got the same error. I did get an error code from RoboLab that the camera had an
error in transfer. I downloaded new Logitech Express drivers which did not help;
I then moved the program to another computer with the original Lego camera and
got same error. You can download the program at http://tomlohre.com/080427.vi.
Never heard back from Tuffs about where
http://130.64.87.22/robolabatceeo/college/tutorials/image_cli/index.htm went to
but you can more or less get the beginning information from the Unofficial Guide
to RoboLab, http://www.collegehousebooks.com/lego_bricks_3.htm . Someday they
will write a revised book that covers all the advanced commands in RoboLab.
Thanks for all your great help. I could not advance the science without the
excellent help from the Internet. My Lego MindStorm Painting Machine had its
debut. Here is the link for the story: http://tomlohre.com/VHG08.pdf . Now I am
trying to give it vision.

(...) The error from within RoboLab is “OLogitech QuickCam Web-WDM ; Problem connecting Video Output to Video Renderer.” (16 years ago, 28-Apr-08, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)
