i have a Cassiopiea e-125 and i was wondering where i could get a program that utilises the built-in IR port instead of the IR tower to control the RCX. (22 years ago, 18-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.palm)

Bricks in my Pocket (BimP) now available!

(...) Content for your PocketPC or Palm is now available. I have been working hard the last few weeks creating a pocket presence for the Advanced Building Brick hobbyist. Using the new Mazingo service, I have created the new e-journal "Bricks in my (...)   Brickremote and lremote

Hi, where can I get brickremote and lremote? The link (URL) published in this newsgroup is dead. Thanks, Michael. (22 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Re: New Palm IR Software to remote control your RCX

(...) It's very close to what is used in standard remote controls, so it's a natural choice and not that alien. They couldn't use the Irda protocol used in Notebooks or handhelds because it is too complicated for such a small computer as the RCX. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Re: New Palm IR Software to remote control your RCX

(...) I'm guessing that using the built in IR port is close to the signal needed but not quite there. It's a shame LEGO used such an alien signal for their towers. But I really do love having FULL NQC on my iPAQ! At our last show I was able to fully (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Re: New Palm IR Software to remote control your RCX

(...) Paul, Nice work - I installed it on my Visor Platinum, but it acts weird. The Forward/back arrows run motor A, the left/right motor B and the buttons to the right motor C. The motor 1/2/3 buttons do nothing and the stop button will not stop a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Iteresting thread to work in progress on Porting NQC to PocketPC

(URL) it seems that the WinCE/PocketPC builds are not being updated. I find this hard to believe as the portable units make field programing a breeze! Dean -- Dean's Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: New Palm IR Software to remote control your RCX

I've been very interested in tightly coupling my Palm and RCX for over a year. Simply put, I want to have the Palm be a higher level 'brain' for my robotic creations, acutally being part of the robot. I use Forth for the majority of my Palm coding (...)   NQC for PocketPC (Win CE) Arm processor

I just acquired a 64meg iPaq 3670 for use with Mindstorms and NQC but I haven't been able to find a ARM build of any of the software. Does anyone know of any or can they compile it? (URL) it for the SH3 and MIPS but not for the new generation of (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
