The thing that's cool about these gears isn't the three-way shape so much as
the fact that they come in two sizes that have not previously been available as
normal gears -- 12 teeth and 20 teeth.

New gears... Excellent.

Has anyone seen these gears in any other sets besides the Droid Kit?

How about new technic service packs?  Any listed in the newest
Shop@home catalog?

Okay, here's another cool thing about the Droid Development Kit -- it includes a bunch of the new three-way bevel gears. I call them "three-way" bevel gears because they're like two bevel gears back-to-back with a normal gear in the middle. The (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)
