Here are some photos of a wirelss camera I made for my setup.
It is powered by a single motor port and the footage is then captured via a TV
card in my PC.

You can also just run it from a 9v battery.
The range is excellent and far outreaches the range of a RCX or Spybotic module.

I have found the best unit to use this camera on is the cybermaster as the RF
functionality lends itself well to long range applications.

Could you post direct links to your pictures? I'm quite interested in your
wireless setup. It wouldn't by any chance fit into a monorail car (4 wide, could
be made 6 wide) ...

(...) (URL) think this would work for you - I have one and it's pretty good. You can strip off that plastic shield and separate the battery from the camera. The camera itself is then about right for your application. You can see from the photo that (...) (20 years ago, 3-Oct-04, to lugnet.robotics)
