Very clever approach! That's amazing how useful a piece of paper can be. :)

I'll try that. My idea is to use a passive landmark, so I'll try to use a
kind of cilindrical mirror so that both the laser pointer and the light
sensor will be placed at the robot. The target will be tall, but not very
wide. I believe that will allow the robot an easy way to find the direction
of the landmark. Maybe even a location finder using a a kind of
triangulation. All it needs is to measure 2 angles from 2 diferent positions
and a few trigonometric calculation.
