Johannes ”Jojo“ Koehler

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: My favourite themes are Castle, Pirates, Classic Space, Adventurers, Western, Star Wars, Town, even Basic sets… Everything minifig-related actually. My favourite sets are 6067, 6285, 1592

My fascination with LEGO began... … with DUPLO. The first LEGO sets I got are 608, 381, 6627 and so on. I never lost the fascination.

I once built... … a guilloutine. Kids can be so cruel.

Someday I will build... … something that I don't yet have an idea of. But it will be built with LEGO. *smilie*

LEGO is great because... … it is a new toy every day.

LEGO fans are great because... … they are open minded and creative.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Playmobil

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: LEGO, Asterix, Linguistics, Soccer (Borussia Dortmund)

My favorite Foods: Spinach with fried eggs and potatoes.

My favorite Movies & TV: Pulp Fiction, Life of Brian, The Big Lebowski. Don't have TV.

My favorite Artists: MC Escher, Rembrandt, Uderzo.

My favorite Music: Pink Floyd, Metallica, R.E.M., Heather Nova, Dredg, Anathema, Morcheeba, 16 Horsepower...

My favorite Pets & Animals: Don't have any besides the spiders in the corners.

Words which best describe me: Realist mit allzu romantischen Vorstellungen. Denkt zuviel.

I love it when... … I sniff the smell of a new LEGO set.

I hate it when... … the LEGO Company changes well established colours.

I can't seem to get enough... … LEGO bricks. Particulary grey ones.

I always seem to have enough... … good friends.

I hope I always... … stay in good health.

I wish I could... … play the guitar

I could never... … eat worms.

I hope I never... … have to eat worms.

I wish I hadn't... … lost the stickers of my once MISB 1592 (back than in 1984).

In my craziest moments... … I play with Playmobil… NO! No, I did not say this!

Believe it or not... … I once got the set 6374 as a birthday present in 1983. When I assambled the model there was a white 6*8 plate missing. Unfortunatelly I did not own such a plate, so I could not build the house correctly. But some days later I found a plate of the shape I needed on the street. It was a very old plate, probably from the 60ies. It was just laying there and waiting for me. Of course I took it and added it to my 6374. And I would build in exactly this plate if I re-assambled the set again. When I found this special plate on the street I knew: There is a God.

If I were super-human... … period. I'm not.

More & Less:
  • more Trees, less Concrete
  • more old grey bricks, less new grey bricks
  • more C3-PO, less Jar Jar Binks

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Be noble!
  2. Be helpful!
  3. Leg godt!
