("HoMa")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Trains, Model Team, Technic

My fascination with LEGO began... ...when I was 2 or 3 years old. The first set was #425 Fork Lift (that's what my parents say).

I once built... ... different color schemes of the Technic Motorbike, a huge heavy duty trailer for the MAN (no pictures ;-), an "electric" guitar, a huge Train display, ... These days I built a model of a Namibian Hotel Train (Desert Express). The Train Company invited me on a trip to Namibia, if I will bring a exact copy of the train to their train museum. The copy is finished, a date isn't fixed so far ...

Someday I will build... ...the Brown Coal Bucket Excavator in 1:100 scale. See the real one at my Brickshelf Gallery. This project needs millions of wide chain crawlers. As entry for the www.1000steine.de International System Creativity Contest I finished this project: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=9483

LEGO is great because... ...it's the most creative "toy" to construct your own world!

LEGO fans are great because... ...they use the internet on the same creative way as they use their bricks.

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Cycling and traveling to far away countries

I love it when... ...I had a good day!

I hate it when... ...cyclists and car-drivers behave like enemies on the road.

I can't seem to get enough... ...what shall I write? Bricks?

I hope I always... ...will be the one I am!

Rules I try to live by:
  1. 8-wide train stuff looks just great and negotiates curves very funny ;-)
  2. Use tiles and they all will ask: "Is this made with LEGO®?"
  3. Use LEGO® in many unusual ways: SNOT technique and 1/2 stud offset for example
