(...) Yes, Rob's pretty clever, all right. Tons of good stuff! I think the neatest thing (so far?) he's cooked up is actually the joint project with BrickForge to make streetlights that work.   Getting inside the new magnet bricks
 
Has anyone managed to crack open (without damaging the parts) one of the new 2x4 minifig-magnet bricks? I noticed that they were held together with a couple Torx screws, so I bought a precision Torx set (I think it took a T6) and removed the screws. (...) (14 years ago, 5-Apr-10, to lugnet.parts.mod)
 
  Need batteries for part no 55206 - Electric Light & Sound Brick 2 x 4 x 2 with Revving Motor Sound
 
Acquired a used 4893 Revvin' Riders set, but the batteries in the sound brick are missing (I'm guessing, they died, and a previous owner removed them, but never got around to replacing them). What type batteries does it need? Thanks in advance! (14 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.parts)
