In just over two weeks we'll have our next SMART meeting. We'll meet at the new
DigiPen building, from 2pm to 5pm.
As no mini-challenge was posted, we'll try a very low-key variation on BrickHeap
Wars for this meeting. It will be an individual (or small team) challenge. So
bring any LEGO you would like to use, including whatever electronic parts, as
well as a laptop. I will only be providing the arena for the challenge, you need
to bring everything else you think you might want to use for your robot. BTW:
This will allow you the opportunity to pre-build a robot chasis if you like!
Though no guarantees that it will be useful for the specific challenge, it might
give you a decent head-start.
As with our usual mini-challenges, any solution you come up with will be
considered. There won't be points or robot-run time limits, or anything like
that. However, there is a build/program time limit, since we need to be out of
the building by 5pm.
I'll describe the challenge at the start of the meeting, and since there won't
be scoring or an official 'winner', hope to participate myself.

| (...) That sounds like a great plan though we did actually pick a mini-challenge at the last meeting. I should have posted something about it but I guess I never got around to it. My bad. The proposed mini-challenge was to make a non-traditional (...) (13 years ago, 14-Jan-11, to lugnet.org.us.smart)
