Kevin,

I came across this page, which has a very pretty little train
(especially the face) that could easily be adapted for Thomas.  It's
still 6 wide, and quite recognizable as a face (I think).  We could
even build the entire face up by one plate, to have tiles everywhere
we didn't want studs.  I like it!

Even though the engine is 8 wide, it may still be possible to make
this one work as a 6 wide.  I'm curious as to what Kevin will think.

Yes, I've seen that one before. The face is good and I might be able
to adapt it for Thomas (no, on second thoughts I don't think it could
be adapted since that face is 6 wide). I don't like the way the boiler
is done, though, with all those studs sticking out.

I think we have time for one of us to come across a plastic toy or a
sticker set between now and August.

Robin, I have not forgotten about the contact info and will get it to
you. Been wrestling with my taxes (and got them done and finished
about 10:30pm on the 30th :-)  ).

I got a letter from the Trains 2001 people with application forms in
this morning. Should I mail it to Robin?

Kevin

It's fine with me if you want to do this, Kevin.  I'll email my
address to you (new since April 1st).  We should decide and get this
in ASAP.  I was reviewing the material on their web site, and it
definitely weighted display size and location to the early birds (and
those that have been in previous shows).  They keep stressing that
space is VERY limited.
