Let's see who is still monitoring the .wi groups!
I recently made a trip around to Evans department/variety stores. They are
nowhere near the gold mine they used to be many years ago, but I still had a
few good finds. I primarily collect town, train, model team and star wars
and these were very light at all the stores (drat).
Since I got what I wanted, I'm sharing the rest with all you, in the hopes
you'll all share your finds here as well!
Two Rivers - nothing. nada. Old sets must get shipped to the other stores.

Kiel - I'm not doing all your work for you! All the 7850 rails are gone
(there was one), but I left the 4548 speed regulator (who needs more of
those?). There are no Metroliners hiding in the basement of the store
(actually, there wasn't anything in the basement that wasn't already on the
shelves, I looked). But, there is still one of the larger M:Tron sets on
the shelves (no I don't remember which one).

thanks for the info!
I didn't even know we had Shell Stations here. I never go near any of them
in my travels...
BTW, do you have the numbers from the sets so I could look them up in the
database before going to buy them?

Just so that we all don't have to make so many phone calls, Following is the
list of participating Shell stations in the state of Wisconsin, as provided
by a very helpful lady at Shell consumer affairs. YMMV
The first station I went to in the Milwaukee area had all sets in stock, and
as long as I was spending at least $10 on gas, etc they were not limiting me
to how many sets I could buy (although I'm sure they could).
If you used your Shell credit card, you could save $5 on any of the three
larger sets. Prices were $25.99 for the Ferrari, $9.99 each for the Pitstop
and Belville sets, and $1.49 for each of the ten little sets.

I know for sure that I am one of those people from WI and I am definatly
interested. I think I know someone else that would be interested also and I
can inform him too. Keep me in touch Tim.

I'm pretty sure that using his list that way would be inappropriate, but who
knows.
In either case, I think it would be a good thing to make a webpage with all the
info about the fest in order to readily promote it. I would be glad to do it.
Also, in addition, if any graphics are needed, let know. I am an
illustrator/graphic designer by trade so I'd be happy to help in that capacity.
ie flyers, logos, etc...
