I am organising a gathering on 20th July in East Grinstead.
It will be held in a hall in the local leisure centre, where my wife works,
and which I can get virtually f.o.c. It isn't that big, so we won't have
room for a NBLTC or other large display, so instead it'll be an informal
gathering where the emphasis will be on buying, selling, trading, showing
off your MOCs, and talking to like-minded individuals.
The UK's first moonbase station will be put together on the day, so get
building!
Further details on the location will follow. East Grinstead is 10 miles
south of the M25 J6, and has a direct train service from Victoria (if
there's no engineering works that day :-) ). The leisure centre is 5 minutes
walk from the station.
All Brickish Association members and other AFOLs are welcome, please let me
know if you're planning to attend. (Non BA members may be strongly
encouraged to join on the day :-) )
There will probably be a small 'entrance fee' to pay for light lunchtime
refreshments which my daughter Chloe will be preparing (some of you may have
eaten her handywork before :-) )
I hope to see some old hands and newcomers on the day!
