It's great to see a woman who has Technic as a specialty.

I must confess that Technics has been my love affair now my Dark Age is
over. When I was a kid and acquired my first Lego early 1960s, it was all
2x4 bricks with some doors and windows and I built houses, shops, petrol
stations, and pretty much anything that was a building. What else can you
build with 2x4 bricks, doors and windows after all? :-)

Mindstorms brought me out of the Dark Ages but it took about 2 weeks after
acquiring Mindstorms to realise I needed more Technics pieces to build
bigger robots. So, I bought some small Technics sets to acquire certain
extra parts for my robots. In the process, I realised that Technics was a
heck of a lot more fun than just a source of robotics spare parts and now
Technics makes up the bulk of my collection. Admittedly my love affair with
Technics has done some serious damage to my credit cards but, hey, I gotta
have some reason to get up and go to work each morning :-) And, more
philosophically, when you earn your own income, you don't have to ask anyone
else how you should spend it!
