hi. the pink birdie planes are my favorites of the wretched mc-d sets. i guess
being indescribly disturbed is not as bad as being repulsed, so.... brasso
metal polish works like majick to remove pre-printed images from lego pieces
without a trace. it is a very fine abrasive and will remove the paint very
slowly, but your patience will be rewarded.
ahem. just tonight, while watching the simpsons, i was brassso-ing aquamarine
slopes from r.r., and a few other elements. i must admit, that the printing on
these pieces disturbed me far more than altering them.
btw, i'm a vegitarian, who considers fast food to be the apocalyptic horseman
of famine, so beating a path to ronald mc-donald's door every week is no thrill
for me either.

It's true they aren't very attractive for AFOL builders, but they are head-and-shoulders (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)
