I can understand Marks perspective, and I can understand why he would like it all
to go to Australia ..... (to replentish the old Lego supply that those not too
smart LEGO Australia folks destroyed).  But rather than leaving it sitting in
storage for many more years, I see no reason why it shouldn't be sold, if the
price is right.

But Mark, (and I'm sure nothing personal was intended) you certainly didn't make a
lot of "Yank" friends in some of your comments.

Hi Sanjay,

As I've been away all last week, I missed this thread. I can't say I much like
the sound of it. Sending Lego NZ's spare parts stock to the US isn't much
better than dumping it. I thought you would be wanting to keep it in the
southern hemisphere rather than have it swallowed up by a number of rich yanks
who will find it hard to part with any of it. The sad situation which occurred
in the past at Lego Australia will never happen again, I've made sure of that.
So it won't hurt to let the stock sit at Lego in Australia. Remember the
exchange rate and postage is far more favourable between Australia and NZ than
NZ and the US.

Everything in the spare parts area is being packed up and sent to Australia

Hi Sanjay,

Does that mean that all the pieces from the model room at Lego NZ will be
transfered to Australia or will they just dump them?
