My wish is to see more female faces, torso's and hair. Others have said
before a 1/10 female to male ratio is not good.

It's good if you're female, horrible for a male. :) But I can understand the
discrepancy, look at the themes we've had thus far:

Pirates, very few female pirates historically
Castle, females are restricted to the Queen/Princess/waitress roles
Space, what is the real world ratio of female to male astronauts?
Star Wars/Harry Potter, TLC is restricted to characters actually in the movies
NBA, I imagine WNBA figures would sell about as well as WNBA tickets
Jack Stone, I guess it could just of easily been Jill Stone

Town, Train, and soccer are all themes that contain a good selection of
female characters and that is how it should be, but the bulk of the themes
TLC has put out are fairly male centric. I also hope this changes, but until
then the female soccer team was a great fig pack.
